Vocabulary N°2/2 bimester

1. Anus: An opening throught wich undigested food leaves the body.
2. Cyst: A young worm with a prtective covering.

3. Flatworm: The Simplest worms, they have flattened bodies.

4. Hookworm: A roundworm that is a parasite of humans.

5. Invertebrates: Animals without bacbones.

6. Mantle: A thing fleshy tissue that answers a soft bodied animal.

7. Planarian: Acommon freshwater flatworm that is not a parasite.

8. Pore: A small opening in a sponge throught wich water enters.

9. Roundworm: Worms that have long bodies with pointed ends.

10. Segmented worm: Worms with bodies divided into sections called segments.

11. Soft-bodied animal: Animals with a soft-body that is usually rotected by ahard shell.

12. Sponge: Simple invertebrates that have pores.

13. Stinging-cell animal: Animals with stinging cells and hollow, sock-shaped bodies that lack organs.

14. Symmetry: The balanced arrangement of body parts around a center point or along a center line.

15. Tapeworm: A kind of flatworm that has a flattened, ribbonlike body divided into sections.

16. Tentacle: Armlike parts of sitinging-cell animals.
17. Vertebrates: Animals with backbones.
